Position Summary
Meadow ISD is seeking a dependable and motivated IT Assistant to support the district’s technology operations. This role works closely with the Technology Director to maintain devices, assist staff and students, and ensure daily technology needs are met across the district. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and working in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for students, teachers, and staff
- Assist with troubleshooting Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, printers, and classroom technology
- Help with device setup, deployment, inventory tracking, and basic repairs
- Assist with user account management (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
- Support network troubleshooting under supervision (wired and wireless)
- Maintain documentation and follow established technology procedures
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Technology Director
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and troubleshooting concepts
- Familiarity with Chromebooks, Windows devices, or school technology is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with students and staff
- Willingness to learn and follow district technology policies
- Prior IT, helpdesk, or technical experience preferred but not required
